Joe has worked in the mortgage business for over 38 years. He came to Evansville in 1985 and started his own company (Star Mortgage Inc.) in 1988 specializing in Government loans, and more recently specializing in Reverse Mortgage loans. He joined Vandyk Mortgage in January 2007 as a branch Manager and Open Mortgage in 2013 in the same capacity. In 2016 he joined Mortgage Masters. He has the distinction  of  being the  only  person to hold the position of Indiana State Mortgage Bankers' President and Indiana Mortgage Brokers' President.

Joe is married to his wife Charlene and has 5 grandchildren that keep him young.
